Beach is better in Cancun, but I think the playa town is better. It's also closer to the great excursions and tulum. Cozumel is way closer than isla, as well as playa del Carmen. Cancun is pretty far away. I doubt you are close enough to anything to bike. Looking for a couple of day trips to do through the week. Zip-lining through the trees, swimming in cenotes, ATVs, catamarans, etc.
